Defence lawyer John Navarrete represented the client in relation to a Fitness to Practice Hearing. After a three day hearing before the College of Nurses, the panel concluded that the client was fit to practice. Mr. Navarrete worked with his client closely to ensure not only that the client was prepared to testify but that all details regarding the client’s practice as a nurse was explored and reviewed. Mr. Navarrete hired two experts to assist in demonstrating to the College that the prosecutor’s position was untenable.
