The client retained defence lawyer Christopher Assie. The client was co-accused with 6 other accused of having participated in a brazen armed robbery of a convenience store. Several of the other co-accused were charged with having committed other armed robberies. After getting the client bail, the client was free to continue to go to school and work while awaiting his preliminary inquiry.
