Tyler is an associate lawyer at Neuberger & Partners LLP. He was called to the Ontario bar June 2023.
Before joining Neuberger & Partners LLP, Tyler articled at a boutique corporate law firm based in Ottawa where he assisted lawyers with a range of issues involving start-up and high-growth companies.
Tyler earned his J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2022, graduating cum laude. While at law school, he worked as a Teaching Assistant for first year constitutional law and conducted independent research on wrongful convictions in Canada. Prior to attending law school Tyler earned his Master of Arts and Honours Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University..
Tyler has always had a keen interest in criminal defence litigation and defending against wrongful convictions. Tyler’s practice includes trials and appeals of various offences, such as sexual and domestic assault matters, threatened death, human trafficking, luring, child exploitation cases, violent crimes including attempted murder and murder, as well as defence of regulatory offences and white-collar crimes. He is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association and Criminal Lawyers Association.
