DRUG IMPORTING

Toronto Drug Importation Defence Lawyers

Experienced Criminal Defence for Drug Importation Charges

Being caught bringing illegal narcotics or drugs into Canada carries substantial penalties including, but not limited to, hefty fines and significant jail time. Even being accused of smuggling a relatively small volume of drugs into the country is a serious charge that demands the attention of experienced and effective criminal defence.

At the law office of Neuberger & Partners LLP, in Toronto, Ontario, our lawyers have represented a wide range of clients in complex drug crimes defence. Whether you are stopped at Pearson Airport or at a border crossing checkpoint such as the Peace Bridge, Fort Erie, Niagara Falls or Windsor, we put our experience and proven record of success* behind your case.

Building Your Custom Defence

No two criminal or drug crimes defences are exactly the same. To provide truly effective defence for our clients, we must be thorough and meticulous in exploring all facts associated with your case and all options for resolution. Our law firm is built on the foundation of tireless preparation of all cases.

If you or a loved one is facing a drug importation or conspiracy to import charge, our trial lawyers can field the knowledge, resources and experience to effectively handle cases involving:

  • Marijuana
  • Cocaine
  • Ecstasy
  • Methamphetamine
  • Heroin
  • OxyContin and other painkillers
  • Illegal prescription drugs

In accusations of drug importation, the prosecution must prove several elements including that the accused knew he or she was in possession of the substance. We work to challenge the prosecution at every point, taking a determined approach to criminal defence.

Whether your case involves the importation of drugs discovered in luggage, directly on your person or elsewhere, we stand ready to help build your defence.

We are proud to have established a lasting and proven record of successful criminal defence for clients spanning more than two decades.* We have achieved satisfactory resolutions for many clients based on our commitment to thorough case preparation and unwavering advocacy for the rights of our clients.
